🎮 ⟢ Bedrock Limitations
CubeCadia supports crossplay between Java & Bedrock, so everyone can join the adventure, but the two editions speak slightly different magical languages. Below you’ll find a list of limitations
🌾 Gameplay & Interaction
🟢 Selling & Shops
/shop
browsing works, but selling items directly through it isn’t available on Bedrock.
🟢 Menus & Clicks
Bedrock doesn’t distinguish left vs right clicks inside menus.
Some actions (like making homes public) might not function through GUI buttons.
Clickable chat links won’t work — you’ll need to copy or type URLs manually.
🟢 Vehicles & Mounts
Mounted mobs can’t be steered using carrot-on-a-stick or warped fungus.
Camels with saddles are currently unrideable.
🟢 Building & Utility
Nether roof access is disabled for Bedrock players.
🌼 Visual & Cosmetic Differences
🟢 Particles & Effects
Some particles may fall or drift incorrectly, especially in particle-heavy areas (like wings or trails).
Expect a bit more particle lag on older devices.
🟢 Custom Items
Item names may look miscolored or formatted oddly.
🟢 Entity Visuals
Invisible item frames and glowing outlines (spectral or enchanted effects) don’t exist on Bedrock.
Spectral arrows look like normal arrows.
Holograms using text or item displays appear simplified or missing.
Some banner patterns and fence connections look different due to edition gaps.
🐝 Cosmetic Systems
Some cosmetic effects (like floating text, glow auras, or spark trails) will show differently or not at all.
🍄 World & Movement Quirks
Walking near bamboo may cause jitter or camera offset.
Some fence posts appear detached or misaligned.
Performance-heavy areas (crates, dungeons, event zones) might show lower FPS due to particle or entity density.
🌿 Good to Know
Build, explore, and survive exactly like Java players.
Access all Jobs, Events, Dungeons, Crates, and Quests.
Trade, rank up, and earn all the same rewards.
If you notice anything strange — or think a feature broke — please let the staff know in #bug-reports on our 🌐 Discord.
